Storm Season

What caught my eye about his article was the beautiful photo example the website gave.  This article gives a short description of the photographer Daniel Kariko and his latest series Storm Season.  In this series Daniels used a pin hole camera to photograph the outcome of hurricanes and poor land management of the Mississippi River delta.   His photographs are absolutely beautiful.  It was so interesting to see the changes of this area over the 5 years he documented these areas.

Review: It Once Was A Paradise by Nobuyoshi Araki
http://jmcolberg.com/weblog/2012/09/review_it_once_was_a_paradise_by_nobuyoshi_araki/

There wasn't really anything that caught my eye about the title of this article. I just was scrolling through my options an clicked on one. But I am glad this is is the article I chose. This article was actually a book review of the Japanese photographer Nobuyoshi Araki. This review discusses Arakis recent photo book.  I was very interested in the photos provided by the article.  This is definitely an artist that will be more thoroughly looking into.

What caught my eye in the title of this article was Japanese. I went to Tokyo,Japan when I was in high school and absolutely loved. Since then I have been so intrigued by the Japanese culture.   This article was about some of the awards given out by the Japanese Art Association.  Like I said I before, I love the Japanese culture so this article definitely interested me. I would love to learn more about this subject.
